Biography
Anton Ford is an associate professor of Philosophy. The author of numerous articles on the philosophy of action and ethics, he is currently writing on a book about the nature of human agency. Ford was the elected Spokesperson of the Committee of the Council of the University Senate. He has served as the Director of Undergraduate Studies of the largest major in the Division of the Arts & Humanities, and he is a recipient of the Quantrell Award for Undergraduate Teaching. As deputy dean, Ford oversees initiatives and planning around graduate education, as well as special projects that span divisions and schools across the university.
