Joint Degrees
Joint degree doctoral programs in the Arts & Humanities are an essential element of UChicago’s rich history of catalyzing new research that expands fields of knowledge by working across disciplinary boundaries.
Doctoral students in the Division can pursue joint degrees as incoming students or decide to pursue a joint degree after their first year, with different requirements for each scenario.
Joint Degree Programs for PhD Applicants
