Biography
Rebekka Federle works primarily with wood and paper to articulate how multiple truths exist concurrently and to explore the role and bounds of empathy. Through an iterative process she records these overlaps, cancellations, and parallels.
She earned her MFA from the University of Chicago in 2025 and BFA in woodworking and furniture design from the Maine College of Art & Design in 2014. She is from Chicago.
